MUSIC MINISTRY
The McArthur Assembly Music Ministry is a dynamic place for people whom God has gifted as singers and/or instrumentalists to work together in order to lead His body in praise and worship. If that sounds like you, then, the McArthur Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra is the place for you. Our mission is to lead the people of God in experiencing Him through praise and worship as well as to provide a place of expression for people of all ages to whom He has gifted in music. Stylistically speaking, we are contemporary with a mix of Hillsongs, Southern Gospel, Integrity Hosanna as well as some traditional and Gospel added in. The Music Department is a growing and dynamic ministry for all ages. It is an important part in the worship experience of our church family.

Mission Statement
McArthur Music Ministries exists to lead the people of God in praise and worship, as well as to provide a place of expression for people of all ages to whom He has gifted in the areas singing, sound support and the playing of instruments.

What are the available areas of ministry?
Currently our Music department consists of the McArthur Sanctuary Choir and Ministry Team, the McArthur Worship Orchestra, the McArthur Sound and Technical Support Ministry.

What kind of music do you do?
Our musical style at McArthur is combination of many different kinds of music integrating hymn standards with contemporary pop, gospel and other present-day styles. However, our desire isn’t to “put on a show” but rather to exalt the Lord.

We currently sing every Sunday morning in the 10:30AM worship service as well as present seasonal musicals and dramas during Christmas, Easter and the Fourth of July. At present, rehearsals are every Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:30PM in the McKids room upstairs. However, construction is underway of a new Music and Educational wing which will house a new Choir and Orchestra rehearsal room to be completed by the first of next year.

The McArthur Ministry Team is selected from within the Sanctuary Choir and various other ministries at McArthur and exists to provide strong vocal support along with the Worship Leader during Praise and Worship. Individuals who are chosen for this ministry demonstrate strong leadership both personally and musically. They minister in both the morning and evening Sunday worship services.
